Same here. I try to rep whatever is particularly insightful, witty or funny. I don't rep whatever I agree with, because there are a lot of threads full of plain common sense. I do rep a few people quite a bit because I always find them enjoyable and agreeable, and it's a pleasant change when I am impressed by someone I usually disagree with. I rep for that.

I rep usually for posts that make me laugh or that I strongly agree with. Sometimes I try to catch up with passing them out and forget which post it was (when my computer is acting up I can't rep right then and there) so I find any post by that person and rep them b'c I felt I owed them. But that's rare. Sometimes I rep anonymously and sometimes I sign. Usually it's anonymous tho'. (Whatever you do, don't joke about shamelessly begging for reps. I got posts deleted on another forum for that. )
I admit that I really don't get the whole "rep" game. What's it mean? Should I be concerned with it or lack of reps? Is it, like, a factor of how cool people think I am?
