TKramar - Because the "being passionate about ANYthing" brings to mind some blase, comatose person sitting in a vegetative state. Can't argue that THAT'S appealing.

Hmm, does Terry Schiavo have a sister? I smell a match!
But being passionate about things usually means that she expects ME to share her passion. No thanks. I don't want people to force me to do things, and I wouldn't force other people to do things. That's what separated me from my last one, rabid environmentalist that she is--and I couldn't give two ****s about the environment.
In fact, my response to 90% of the things out there in the news is, "I don't give a ****."
So I guess that would just be a difference in priorities/values. Not so much about her being passionate in general, just that it was about something you don't give a rat's ass about, no?

But since I don't give a rat's ass about MOST things, then being passionate about them would tick me off. And actually, it wouldn't matter unless she tried to make ME just as passionate about it. For example, I don't care if she's a vegetarian, but if I happen to grab a burger for ME, and it makes her mad, then there's a problem. See?
