I've had some unusual relationships...er relations...whatever. But places? I keep thinking...
I was a street peformer for a long time so I met what most would deem unusual characters. And I guess unusual places for most. I hit it off with some fellow street folk while working, at festivals, etc; muscians mostly, once a clown but I had a rule not to date clowns so I didn't let that go any where lol. I met my old painting parnter on the street and we performed together for a year or so and yea, we hit it off.
eta: Ah! I got one. My old denist. He was so hot. A young buck and he was working for a dental institute where I was getting free care for participating in a study. He was in my mouth before we really knew eachother lol, but we hit it off pretty quick and sort of dated for a while.
At a printing press shop. I walked in looking for a place I could somehow get a semi good fake I.D, and the owner who was the only person there that day made me tell him why and he helped me. We have been friends ever since.
I moved from LA to Venice when I was 21 in 1972. I didn't have a car so I had to ride the bus for 1 1/2 hours to get to my job in LA.
There was extra fair involved in a trip that long so passengers who paid it were issued a small paper ticket to show the bus driver they had paid the full fair.
On my first day, I was daydreaming and the bus driver touched my hand to get my attention so he could collect this ticket. I looked into his eyes and my first thought was "I wonder what it would be like to be married to this person" I won't bore you with the details, but 7 months later we were married and remained married until his death 20 years later.
Even many years later, I never say never and always expect the unexpected to come around the next corner when I least expect it.

I don't have a usual place, first girlfriend was in high school, second was playing racquetball, third at the office, 4th was an introduction, and the 5th (and last one) used to cut my hair (when I had hair up until 7 years ago)
