For a good laugh, watch Goldie Hawn in the movie, "Housesitter."

Seriously? Who doesn't. Anyone can make plans. It just becomes a matter of carrying them out and seeing them through. It takes courage. And for the most part, most people are afraid of change.

Sometimes, yes I do. But then I think about the grueling task of trying to find a job elsewhere, and going through that entire interviewing process, and sending out resumes and all of that, and I quickly change my mind.

No. Not really. I really like where I live, besides, its home. I think the wife may sometimes want to move to Europe (France or Bulgaria) but only because those are her favorite vacation spots.

Glad others think about this to. I feel I'm ready for change at this point of life. On one hand, I feel nervous about it, on the other hand I say go for it. Maybe it's a mid-life crisis. LOL

I have started over several times in my lifetime and it has always been a good choice.
However, now that I am older, I realize that changing my location is less important than changing my attitude. I recently realized after considering another change that I really want to remain in my current location until I die. I am now totally happy that I made the right decision.

my friend is doing that. His wife and him are moving 3 states away. Just like that. I was shocked. I asked him where he will be working...he said he doesn't have a job yet. He said he has alittle money saved.

Crazy. There is a line to draw though.

I know I have thought about it not because my life is bad in anyway I love my life here (beside the high price of everything in NJ but that another forum LOL) but i do like it very much here all my family is here... but If i did have the chance to change up my life and move to another state I would absolulty do it... I think everyone thinks it would be exciting to move and start all over making friends learning about the new state... Change can be a good thing sometimes!

I definitely do that but I dont want to take my family with me LOL I just go through phases where I wish I could move somewhere where no one knows me, start over and just do something totally different and then reality swats me hard in the face and I remember that I'm kidding myself, I'd miss my kids and fiance and friends.... too hard starting all that stuff over again but sure, it's nice to think about it.
