Absolutely not. Why would he have to feel obligated to stay with her...ESPECIALLY, if he didn`t have sex with her.
Apparently, she didn`t do that much for him anyway, if he didn`t have sex with her, and could have.

Suppose they did have sex and it was bad? Would you still ask if he were obligated to pursue something with her? Of course not.

In that case why are men chastised for leaving a woman after sex? I have heard the terms he is an "a-hole", "jerk" etc. uttered by other woman in response to posts where the woman was merely dating and the guy left after they became intimate. The woman feels that the man "used" her for sex... I don't understand how a woman can feel used or deceived if there was no explicit promise of a relationship later.

Just because sex happens between 2 consenting adults doesnt mean that there is an immediate relationship. Unfortunately sometimes when there is sex sometimes one of the parties involved thinks that this means they are a couple now...........which isnt always the case.

Bingo! The only obligation following meaningless casual sex is for one of the two to go HOME!!

I sort of disagree. I think that if either party implied or said there would be "more" then it is unethical. Cause if a person just wants sex, then I think one should say I JUST WANT SEX. No confusion and complications.

True, but many girls already know that but refuse to accept it. They sometimes seem to set themselves up to be let down.

Hey so long as it has been said, "just sex" then it's all good. That way we both know we're being hookers for the night.
