Can't really say that I've been looking all too hard but I have plenty of female friends. Most suggest I would have a hard time finding a woman who wouldn't eventually want to have kids. My deal is this, I make a great uncle but I'm not nearly motivated enough to be responsible for the life of someone else. I'm 25, professional and working on my career/education, I would never be able to dedicate the time necessary for raising a child with a decent lifestyle. I've seen how relationships change when children are involved. Any ladies out there feel the same way?
yup yup
No kids for me. Life is much, much too good without them. Some women simply LIVE to have/raise children. It's not my thing. Never has been, never will be.
Never be influenced by what someone else "thinks" you should do. To thine own self be true!
Kids destroy everything, make loud noises, don't obey to parents/owners most of the time. It sounds pretty much like dogs to me.
Trained dogs will obey their parents/owners command to their dying breath (the dog's that is). A quality you will not find in children, from what I have seen.
I never really totally wanted to have kids. I put my career first. My thought was to be able to financially provide for myself any new lives that I brought into the word. Now that I am older and finally financially able to have my own kids, I no longer have the patience and understanding to tolerate them and their crying, screaming, fits, temper tamtrums, messyness, etc. Catch 22.
I know many professional women (Physicans, Attorneys etc) who give up their careers, or put them on hold for a number of years, when they have a child. The number of women doing this is increasing substantially -
They believe that raising their children is far more an important job than their career.
