I always thought a sugar daddy meant that he got something in return for what he was putting out but I learned that is not the case-lol I mean there are situations where a pretty girl will be taken care of just because she looks good and never has to have sex with him

I"m not a sugar daddy, but if I was, trust me someone would be getting boned.

LOL exactly, I just never understood the point of a man giving money and expected nothing in return. A girl who used to come here for a makeout session would tell me how she would get $400 just to have dinner with a guy-lol
The guy I know who is a "sugar daddy" (50-something guy who chases 20-30 something women) owns a small manufacturing company and probably makes 500k a year. He started the company from scratch back in the 1980s. Never married, was too focused on the business to spend time chasing women until the last 5 years or so. He spends a huge amount of $$ on chasing women now.
I think it is very hard to have it all (like women seem to want these days). Successful, wealthy (not ones that are given it, but self-made) people tend to have tough marriages/relationships and can have tough relationships with kids due to working (and possibility traveling all the time). Something has to give.
I found my guy on one of those sites. I wasn't looking for a sugardaddy, but I was looking for a financially secure man.
Regardless, they come from a wide variety of careers, this is because the women are not all looking for the same thing. Some really just want someone to take them out and show them a nice time. Some want a supplement to help through school while others want full support. A car salesman can do just as well as a plastic surgeon.
I'm just curious... what kind of career do you need, generally, in order to claim that "sugar daddy" status?
(other than celebrity and politician)
You don't need to have a career, you can just be a trust-fund boy. As long as a man is swimming in money, he can be a potential sugar-daddy.
