Wives do you feel bashful about your husband seeing you in the altogether?

My wife has no inhibitions about walking around in the nude right before or after a shower. Her inhibitions are in the bedroom. Wish it was the other way around.

I think it has a lot to do with how you were raised and your own self confidence. If a woman was raised in a very conservative household and the mother always going on about how nudity is bad / dirty ,etc... A woman usually will then believe all her life that you are supposed to keep that part of you very private; even with your SO.
For example, my Mother never would have let me see her naked by accident or just changing clothes. She was very shy about her body and she would even go into the bathroom with clothes on and put them back on when she got out of the shower. I just thought that you should keep your goodies hidden - I obviously grew out of that but it took a very understanding b/f to coax me out.
Now, fast forward, when I never worried about it if they saw me naked. You know, it's a body, we all have one and because of how I felt about my body for a long time I didn't want them to go through that - as a result they are both very comfortable in their skin and confident young adults.

Dh is always checking to make sure the blinds are securely shut because I'm oblivious!

I even do naked ballet dancing sometimes just to make him laugh.

Nope, no bashful here. Dh...you like what you see come and get it! However, in order to get anything accomplished during the day, I HAVE to cover up as much as possible!

I run around naked all the time...though that's probably more a result of my shamelessness than anything else.

So we have some aging issues. And there are some bashful ones.

In the past, like the Victorian era for example, ladies were encouraged to cover up at all times possible. There was on old saying or something about men seeing a lady's ankle when she climbed into a carriage and getting excited by that. They weren't permitted to see much else in public.

I'm not suggesting anyone here is that old-fashioned. Just that that 'tude made the female form very mysterious to guys. It wasn't liek they could surf the internet and see everything.
