If you meet a girl, you hit it off, you really like her and she gives you her number, how to you prevent her from NOT picking up the phone when you call her? How do you prevent her from NOT ditching last minute on a date? How do you feel like there's an unequal amount of interest and you like her more than she like you, how do you turn the tables so that she's the one who's dying to see you?
How do I keep a girl from ditching on dates or not picking up the phone?
You can't. You're still a stranger to her, so a flake sees nothing to lose in flaking on you. Do your best on the first impression, but that is no guarantee.

There's nothing you can do about it. If she isn't interested, then that's that. To try and continue contact after she is abviously avoiding would make you seem like a stalker.
BLJ, you gotta understand that a female flake meter is sky high starting at about age 12. It starts to go down and usually it's at 0 around the age of 35.
Some women reach zero flakeiness at an earlier age and some later. I always say women don't really become real women until about the age of 32 - there are exceptions.
If you will learn womens flakiness levels and how to deal with it you will be a happier man and actually have women more in your control (as much as that is possible)
I wish I new at 21 about woman as I do now later in life.
If you are repeatedly have "flakey" women/girls around you, then perhaps you should be checking out the mirror. YOU are obviously attracting "flakes" - so I stand by my first response:
How do you "flake-proof" a girl? Don't be a flake yourself.
Now, perhaps we are dealing with totally different descriptions of the word "flake.
