I believe that the cheaters of the world always have and always will find a way to cheat. It's sad, but true, and the honest, faithful, trusting people will end up getting lied to and hurt.
yes, it is easier to cheat with things like on-line sex, creating a made-up on-line profile, lying about who and what you are, lying about anything, and talking with someone online without ever meeting them or talking on the phone

yes, there are always people who are dishonest and lie and cheat
but the only "honest faithful trusting people" who get "lied to and hurt" are those who keep playing the victim, and don't learn to use their common sense and discernment.
Learning how NOT to be a victim is an important skill to have in life. When one has that, then the cheaters and dishonest people fade in the power they have to do harm.
Theirs so many ways to get in contact people nowadays, and basically where theres a will, theres a way, is it easier to cheat now, than back in the old days?
First, we'd have to define "cheating". Is it "cheating" to merely talk to another woman with no sexual contact whatsoever?
You can meet people on the other side of the world.
You can meet people you went to school with.
You can meet... just about anyone with technology now a days.
It's all good but can be dangerous too.
As for cheating...if you were able to openly talk with your spouse that this clown is trying to contact me...you both can laugh it off. If you start hiding stuff then it gets dangerous.
I like your answer, cheating is easier to do today. But you most certainly can get caught, emails, texting, certain sites. Cheating is dangerous, so don't do it, talk about your problems, before it becomes to that point. Communication is very important keep that link open.

1) Simply getting in contact with someone is NOT the same as cheating, unless you meet in person.
2) It would seem that it would be easier to be "found out" if you did this sort of thing.
3) If you set up your partner...as a test...but you yourself are the person he's talking to about meeting--is it still cheating? Is it cheating if you put on a wig?
