I watched Dr.Bronner docu the other day...

He ranted on about how Moses said something to the tone of: If we do not claim responsibility for our actions than we are just animals and not human at all.

A lot of people make excuses for cheating, abuse etc and blame the victim. So I have a few questions...Did Moses really say this? What do think?

EDITED: stuck in the "r"

I don't think anybody here can vouch whether Moses actually said that or not. Some of us are old, but not that old.

Depends on religious beliefs. Whether Moses said it or not, we have our own conscience to answer to and it certainly makes sense.

Moses Who If u mean the Moses in the Bible or a quote from the Bible, I would be interested in finding out exactly what scriptural reference Bonner referred to. I don't remember reading it or it being taught in Sunday school. However it is interesting perspective...:

Okay....well, he sounds like an interesting character with a tragic past life. Good for him for keeping a positive outlook after all that.

But why do you care what he said anyway? (Just trying to understand what you were looking for with this thread)

Seems to me you could have asked the question about personal responsibility without mentioning him, what am I missing?
