She isn't worth the effort and time to explore further possibilities.

As for your question, it's a good ender on your part. Move on.

We exchanged a couple emails, had a lot in common, both from Minnesota, blah blah blah

I suggest meeting up in one email, the next email she says Tuesday or Wedesday will be good. I email her the monday before saying wednesday works for me, but no response. No big deal, right (I had other dates lined up anyways). She emails on thursday that she is so sorry she didn't respond and that her internet was down but she still wanted to go out. She gives me her phone number.

I call a few days later, leave a voicemail. She emails me an hour later saying she accidentally deleted my number when she deleted my voicemail and felt like a clutz, and wanted me to call her again. So an hour later, I do, and we talk. This is on a Sunday night. We set up a date for Wednesday, she says her week is busy, but wednesday night should work. I said just give me a call or something if you can't make it, otherwise we'll plan on wednesday.

Wednesday is yesterday, I show up, I text her when I got there, no response, call her 10 min later, no answer. 5 min later I leave and go play the new Modern Warfare 2

2 hours later I don't even get a call, she TEXTS me and says "So sorry something came up at work". I just responded "hey, I was excited to meet you, but after tonight I don't think it's going to work, good luck in your search".

(FYI: I'm 26 she is 24)

That's how I handled my first ever stand up, post if you agree/disagree, I'm interested in other viewpoints. Would you ever agree to meet someone who stood you up once?
Hell NO! If I was stood up, that's it: No Phone Call, No Fax, No Text, No Email, No nothing.

That's just the start of a pattern of a "flaky" person. I hate people like that, but it happens. Don't take it personal. Her loss. Do YO THANG BABY! Just don't repeat what she did to you to someone else. YOU KNOW!!!!

Because then you would be the hypocrite.

I think you did great.

I don't have much patience for this kind of nonsense.
