I think they're adorable. Lil African prairie dog rodents. I loved that show, Meerkat Manor. Like a soap opera with animals. Much more interesting than any human drama.

I did not know there was a such thing, but if anyone was a good natured-fierce badger-type animal, it would be you, Hawk!

Much better imho then a Great White.
Indeed. An old friend of mine once worked as a trainer at Sea World. Said Killer Whales beat Great Whites any day.

Cute, but razor sharp teeth and very agile. They get into people's boats here while they're docked and open coolers and livewells and eat bait and food. I've treated one otter bite.

Hey, Sea of Grass! I learned how to multi-quote! It finally sunk in!!! Thanks for your patience!

Good morning, all! It looks like rain here...

I wanted to shout out to A.C. that I went and had Indian food buffet yesterday with my parents - my second time with Indian food - this time it was delicious. I think me and my boyfriend will go out and have it, too!

Also, for an unemployed person such as myself, it was pretty cheap for this town - $9.95 for all you can eat, 11:30 til 3:00 p.m. seven days a week. I was impressed - our town has hardly any buffets, let alone one that is in operation 7 days during the week.

Anyhow, it was pretty good with pretty interesting flavors! I highly recommend it to everyone who hasn't tried it yet...

Oh I LOVE Indian food! Was it good Cricket? What did you try?

My ex's aunt used to make the best Mutter Paneer ever, I've never been able to find a restaurant that could match it . Oh and samosas too, she'd make these sweet ones w/ raisins in them. YUM!

You guys are making me jealous.

The last three days I've been starving (not exactly, living in controlled calorie meals) and working out.

I wanna go out tonight and grab some panneer

I hate to admit to this, sophialee, but I had what I think it was - saffron rice with peas in it, and several orange colored sauces with little beans in one and then it looked like asparagus and mushrooms in another and I had creamy spinach with the most unusual flavors! And I had bowtie pasta with a creamy sauce as well. (I'm sure you guys are laughing or making faces at my descriptions - I'm sorry, I can't remember the names - I even brought home the menu pamphlet.) We had that freshly-made flat bread, too!

Oh, and they even offered salad, and there was this bright green minty-spicy stuff that we put on it. It was good and unusual. I didn't know what it was?

And for dessert, my mother and I had this sweet rice-milk concoction with nuts (?) in it or little grapes?

It was great. I can't wait to take my boyfriend. I am hooked!

For you drinkers, they had a full bar. We all just drank water.

They did have samosas, by the way - I just didn't try them this time.

It was great! We're going again! Delicious. I had to tell you after everyone was talking on this thread about Indian food that I finally went and had some. And it was my father's idea.
