Lots of attraction comes from same likes or dislikes. Or what someone does, how they do it. Or if they remind them of someone they knew. Went through similar things in life. If you have similar sense of humor. Same morals. Or simply have fun with each other.

And someone you can be comfortable talking and sharing with each other. Even if its silly or mundane.

I don't know if there is such a thing as love at first sight. I think the OP is right on though.
