BOO HOO!! My mommy made me go to church when I was little and that's why I hate religion and God now!! That's the Atheist story. Paaaaaaaaaaaaathetic!!! Grow up!!! Christians are doing their job as missionaries and I don't see you Atheist doing crap. Not a single thing. Your not doing anything Arequipa! Your not doing anything but sitting on your computer. Don't you dare try to link yourself with people who are actually doing something. Because your not! You know what I'm doing and what my family has been doing?! My family has been on many MANY missionaries to our native Haiti and Africa donating and doing all we could for the children there. Spreading the word of God of course!! We're there because of God!! We have sponsored children over the years from other countries WHILE adopting children here in the U.S. My mom has had many foster children come through our home! Unfortunately, many couldn't stay because their parents got their lives back together. We try as much as we can to give to church service when we go to church, which isn't even everyday! NOT TO FORGET my family members that have served in the air force and the military fighting for YOUR LIFE!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!!

It is this brand of Christianity, which not only Allen displays but many others, that makes people run as far away as they can get from it. They just don't realize how hypocritical and judgmental they really are even though they attempt to make themselves look superior to the rest of humanity...which is extremely UNCHRISTLIKE BEHAVIOR...but they really aren't fooling anyone at all!

I'm sorry you guys about my boasting. I hope you can forgive me because I realized I am way OUT OF LINE this morning. But I just have to say God is not the one that caused their disaster. But I really am sorry. I should have never been boastful about what I've done and automatically assumed you have done nothing. Atheist as well as Christians as well as other people have contributed greatly to this country and other countries as well. And that's what I forgot. I get so ridiculous riled up with anger that I lose control and I can say things I don't mean and I didn't mean any of what I said. I have so much love for you guys. You have NO idea. Everyone contributes something to society. And it's not right for me to have acted like I am so superior or greater than you. Because I sure as heck am not. Chrstygirl you served in the Military. I can't say I have. I never risked my life for anyone so how dare I to even act like I was so much greater. I apolgize from the bottom of my heart to all of you. I really hope you can accept it because I truly feel like crap.

How about you cool down and stop trying to buy the debate with donations to the unfortunate. No -one ever proved history or science true or untrue by saying how much they gave to charity.
The creation debate is to be decided on logic and evidence, not claims to some higher moral ground.

I agree that I was out of line. But that doesn't mean I have changed my beliefs. You don't have to believe in God Arequipa. No one is asking you to. But I do. I always will. If my beliefs make me look like an intolerant ass to the rest of the world then so be it. Because I don't live for the world. I live to see Christ. Like Christy said, don't sweat it. Perhaps I was a bit out of line too by rejoicing in your prang. However it was just that it was such a beautiful misstep that I couldn't resist. And of course, it doesn't mean that you're wrong; it is just, as I say, a reminder not to be too hasty to dig out pseudo refutations - note, your hinting that the other side was somehow tainted with satan - worship was a bit uncalled for, mate - as they can often rebound.

Well, I have explained above, and there's no need to make an issue of it.
As I say, your excellent record in handing out aid or zapping the enemy may be admirable but it isn't really the issue here. The debate is about why we were created and the counter - question of whether we even were. And that's a matter for logic and evidence if you want to get involved.
