Does that mean if you're born gay, it's genetic, and if it's genetic, then gay people ceasing to reproduce will mean the extinction of that genetic material?

Neither birth control nor chemotherapy are natural either, yet one who is need of those items rarely seems bothered by the unnaturalness of what they are doing.

But if one happens to dislike gay people, naturalness suddenly means everything in the world.

It's the most compelling argument they can imagine as they eat their processed cheese-product on bleeched white flour bread and dye their graying hair.

In general, people are far too interested in regulating the use of other people's genitals.

In general, some folks can't handle others' differing opionions.

Whether homosexuality is natural, or not is more than apropos to this thread since the title of it refers to Nature. Therefore--it matters.

Just to be clear, I wasn't referring to you or anyone else imparticular. I was only making a general observation. Certainly I wasn't directing that at the OP.

Homosexuality could be nature's way of population control

I think nature already took care of that with viruses and disease

And besides, by saying that nature actively takes measures in controling the population, you are as much as saying that nature is somehow, conscious, intelligent, and not only that but aware of the population problem.......

You are only a hop, skip, and a jump away from "God"

And since homosexuality is prevalent throughout the animal kingdom and nature, it's by definition natural.

It is natural for animals to hump anything, & eat their young - that happens in nature - so is that something natural for human beings? WHY ARE YOU COMPARING ANIMAL CONSCIOUSNESS TO HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS?
Are we not on the outside of cages, & animals on the inside?

I love animals - but I don't compare my mental & emotional reasoning to theirs. Primates are actually born with brains more develped, than ours are at birth. Besides humans, there are 3 species that have mental ability to make tools... primate, elephant & crow. Each of these are given extra time with their parents & for brain development after birth.

As humans, our brains are less developed at birth, so we can better adapt to environmental influences & thus not only survive, but thrive & master many abilities other animals can't. This also supports that our nature is to understand more - about what is healthy & what is not & base our decisions on that. So, understanding that homosexual practices have been proven to present health risks (even with 2 healthy males engagin in anal sex) & to spread disease, as evident by US CDC reports, we can naturally figure out that this type of behavior is counter to our well-being.

Folks, the OP pertains to the notion of homosexuality and population control. We need to keep this one on topic, okay?

Thanks!

Humans are part of nature, created by the same forces that created all life on this planet. Everything we do IS natural by default, even homosexuality.
