Notice any correlation?

Then add a map that show which denomination prevails in each state:



Seems clear that christian morality doesn't work so well.

Basically because the Bible Belt is full of Conservative and Fundamentalist "Christians" and they are the biggest hypocrites around.

They are the first to use Leviticus to condemn gays, while having a 50% divorce rate, and watching record levels of pornography, getting all their teen girls pregnant, and having the most obese population in the country, if not the world.

They are the people that Jesus condemned the most - the self-righteous, legalistic conservatives who claim to live morally and follow God's commandments, but show no compassion, love, or mercy.

Sadly I am one of those who live in the heart of the bible belt.
