the longing to be free, from the longing itself.
as we try to find the answers, more questions fill our heads
maybe its this maybe its that, but until the questions disappear and the truth of who we are remains.. we will not find this freedom.

some may say they are religious and belong to this and that religion, some may say religion is a joke and have beliefs against it..
but we are all the same, we all want to belong , to a place where we can be ourselves fully, without having to even question or search.. a place where there are no more questions,no answers... our minds are not constantly thinking and attaching to things.. instead we can fully enjoy the moment for what it is.. a moment in existance where peace ,joy, love and all good things arise..

when the mind is still . and the questions stop then we can know who we are and not be lost in the dream of the mind and its complusive thinking and tryin to analse everything
we can simply, naturally, effortlessly be who we are..no attachements to this and that. life itself purely, unlimited,, freedom to live.

Oh, just be a Buddhist and be done with it...

But Buddhism is a nontheistic religion, which could be an issue if God is real.

Just sayin'

Lacking wisdom (avijja in Pali), sensual desires (tahna) and reacting/attachments/longing/clinging (sankhara) are the three main causes of life and its miseries. To overcome this misery one needs to do spiritual and physical cleansing, which includes taking moral precepts and meditation. In essence, it is similar to what you have described.

We may develop partial wisdom through discussions and learning, which we are doing in these threads.
