I saw a Discovery Channel (I think) special on the idea of aquatic apes being mermaids. I'll be honest....I thought it would be cool. I'd love to discover a species of aquatic ape. But I'm not very hopeful about it.
Remember the movie "Splash"? Check it out if not familiar.
And "Ariel"?! Whoo Hooo!!
Every mermaid that has ever been presented is a ultra super hottie!!
And...they are always very romantically interested in human men!
I want one!
I hope they are real too. I do believe they are. Even though the NOAA has said no evidence of them has been found, that's really not saying much. So much of the ocean hasn't even been discovered, and only 5% of the ocean's creatures have been discovered. Who are they to say mermaids aren't real?
Well, nobody has any proof of a Sasquach or a Yeti either. As we often discuss in this forum, you can't prove a negative, so it is inherently impossible to prove that there is no such thing as a mermaid.
As in a half human/half fish? I didn't think anyone actually thought they were real?? Shouldn't this be moved to the unexplained mysteries forum?
Me either, but like others have said, i guess we dont really know!
def should be in the unexplained mysteries forum
