This Santa Christianity myth is nothing but lies. We all lie to our children that Santa comes at night with presents. How can we propagate such lies to the young innocent children who finally find out that their parents have been lying to them when they were kids. We MUST bring an end to this LIES now.
Is there a distinction between lies and a nice story for children? And the other question that occurs to me is, are you also going to say that the Tooth Fairy is a lie?

Blimey, if you have kids then I genuinely feel sorry for them because their upbringing must be as boring as a guided tour of a paper factory. There is a difference between malicious lies and a nice little traditional story to enhance the magic of Christmas for the children. It may not have occurred to you but most kids couldn't give two sh*ts about Christmas were it not for the presents so I'd have thought you'd be actively for anything that would help to keep them interested.
Okay, you guys are gonna think I'm warped. It's just the sense of humor I have. But when the kids used to believe in Santa I used to write on the tags "from Satan" or "Satan Claws". Then I'd tell the kids that I was gonna light a huge fire in the fireplace because anyone coming down our chimney was a trespasser and they were gonna get their azz burned up if they dared try come down our chimney! Don't get upset people - they knew I was joking!!!
I was thinking about this thread and your post as I was making out gift tags this evening, so had to go back and find it. Much has changed over these past three Christmases, but your warped sense of humor has remained intact!
