Evil is - good, expressing itself in bad ways (salvation, hell, Satan)

Christians believe that God punishes people for evil and tortures them for eternity. But what you don't understand is how evil is made. If you did, you wouldn't say such things. If God understands this, and still sends people to hell for this, God is the biggest jerk I have ever seen (and we create pretty big jerks here on Earthly plane).

Evil exists because Good exists. EVIL is - good expressing itself in foolish ways.

The desire to hate usually comes because someone hurt you. And hating usually lessens your self's pain. So when you hate, you actually are showing love to your self by lessening your pain.

So, in order to express love to one living being (your self), you end up expressing "evil" to another living being. BUT you are expressing this evil BECAUSE you are expressing love to your own self.


Is the desire to love self really so evil? Even Jesus said: love self as others.

So evil is a side effect of good. While trying to please someone (self), you end up hurting another.

But why does the desire to love self express itself in such an evil way? Isn't there a better way - to love self and lessen your pain AND not to hurt another in the process?

Well, I am sure there IS a better way. But we did not find that way yet. So we do the best we can, which turns out to be evil (evil is - something others don't want happen to them).

So, therefore, it's ignorance that causes evil. It's not knowing a better way that makes us choose bad ways.

So if God knew that, if he was loving and wise, he would be focusing on teaching people to find better ways to lessen their pain and to love self rather than letting them live in blindness and confusion and then send them to hell for not learning the good ways in time.

It turns out God doesn't want to give you enough time to learn. The teaching teaches that you only have this life to learn. That is so cruel. That is why a Universal Salvation doctrine is a beautiful one and the traditional hell one is a really bad one.

People are like children, stubmling in darkness and in so much confusion. Jesus was aware of this human condition, that's why he said: "Blind leading the blind".

God doesn't do much to remedy the situation. (He left the teaching to his children, so to speak, but they are not doing a good job at all. It's like God was an adult and left important matters in the hands of 5 year olds. That wouldn't be wise. And God is supposed to be wise. God sending his Son to die on the cross for this stuff (for inability to learn to act good in 70 years) turned out not to be so helpful after all. So many people don't have the ability to believe in this "good news" and so it's not helpful to them. And others have no strength to obey such rules. And others never even heard of the "good news".

And to say that God can do bad things just because he is the boss, is so not a good thing. It's like giving license to someone to do bad just because they are more powerful. In our world, we teach that that is bad. But somehow, it makes it ok for God to be that way. But even if he was that way, I suppose we would have no choice. But at least, we would see reality for what it is: we are under control of someone very bad, someone who punishes people for doing evil, but who does evil himself. Even this doesn't make any sense.

So anyway you turn, there is no good in that doctrine of hell and God. Anyways you turn, you just can't make God in a good light.

Religion requires the everything is dualistic, this is where the power in religion comes from. Something good requires that there has to be something evil, the same goes will light, love ect. In non-dualistic terms there is neither good or evil for these are just concepts and concepts are products of the mind and therefore only exist with in the mind. Nature is a good pointer of existence, it is neither good or evil nor is it love or hate, it is as it is. If one chooses to believe in an all benevolent god, then by default there has to be the polar opposite and we then have god verses satan. The same goes for the terms dualistic and non-dualistic, these are just concepts. In the non-dualistic idea there is just "consciousness" and all things dwell within it, In the meditation for September 12 in A Net of Jewels (1996), Ramesh Balsekar says; "We are neither different nor separate from Consciousness, and for that very reason we cannot 'apprehend' it. Nor can we 'integrate' with it because we have never been other than it. Consciousness can never be understood in relative terms. Therefore, there is nothing to be 'done' about it. All is Consciousness and we are That."
