LOL!

You're only proving Trout Dude's point. Knowledge is a terrible thing, so instead of addressing the two dozen or so posts that pretty much grind your argument into the dirt, you've decided to reach into that ol' Creationist Box of Tricks and pull out the yawn-inducing "atheists secretly believe but they reject God so they can sin" argument. Let's all guess which one he'll pull out of the Box next. I bet it'll be, "Were you once hurt by Christianity?" argument.

Well at least you didn't say I needed a cookie, but your comments here offer up absolutely nothing but typical "we are so much more intelligent than you" type rhetoric. No argument was ground into dust. Rather, atheists scrambled to try and find a way to make me look to be in the wrong while actually having to agree with me. It was kinda comical actually.

You have an interesting take on what you probably think is reality.

An illusion you maintain in your usual fashion, by simply ignoring and not replying to the posts that do not fit your artificial reality and historical revisionism. It was kinda comical actually.

No, actually, what I meant was that South American spotted fruit bats only mate in captivity if you keep them in a dark space.

Whoa wait ... what does THAT have to do with the discussion? Well ... it has about the same relevance as your weird "we are so much more intelligent than you" comment that flew right out of nowhere. Kinda like my thing on spotted fruit bats.

I mean, what the hell? If you can talk about anything, so can I.

Actually, there is this extremely educated conservative Republican who made a career out of being involved in various government think-tanks.

And he wrote this absolutely wonderful article that talks about the kind of "alternate reality" that Jeffbase sees. What's sad is that this alternate reality really exists ... for them, at any rate.

(He actually calls it an alternate reality).

One thing he zeroed in on was this alternate reality that Christians are being persecuted and that Obama is waging a war against Christianity and all that rubbish. It's not anywhere close to reality but the spin doctors on the right side of the aisle have really done a number on our rightist Christian brethren. It's really quite sad yet I can't help but be reminded of how the Japanese on Saipan were so brainwashed into thinking Americans would torture and rape them that they threw themselves over a cliff instead.

Alternate realities can be quite powerful and almost impossible to penetrate. Nope, there's no shutting down the holodeck for these folks.

I can link it if you wish ... but I'll have to find it in my rather lengthy archives (I had to buy a 3 TB hard drive because all of my research materials have outgrown my measly 1 TB drive).

Christians are not being persecuted? Are you going to tell me that these Christians just imagined their relatives being murdered?

Well I guess it is relevant in the sense that taking time to gloat that you grounded my argument into dust is "fruitless". If nothing else, I can at least expose the tactics employed by atheists to create the illusion that they always win the argument. I'm sorry, but no one is that infallible. You can be wrong, ya know.

Whenever you are ready to start doing that, please do. You have not done so so far. I however have on many threads now exposed the tactics you have used to maintain about anti atheist narrative and demonization. Tactics that include warping and even outright lying about events in reality, before then ignoring all posts that rebut you, and replying with disproportionate fevor to the tone of any post you feel insulting (even when they are not)

The event in the OP of this thread is, as was pointed out, simply not as you have painted it to be.
