According to religious thinking, eternity in afterlife is what matters and afterlife is also unknown/unknowable. Then, a natural question follows: what is the wager? Let's see some risks:
1). Believe in own god, then meet other's god in afterlife: infinite punishment for believing in wrong god.
2). Believe in own god, then meet own god in afterlife: infinite reward for believing in right god.
3). Not believing in any god, then no god to meet: no reward and no punishment.

The burden of proof is on the person proposing the existence of an afterlife. So far I have not seen any convincing evidence. There is nothing to wager.
Here is the big problem I see, only your soul goes to heaven. Does the soul experience the five senses? What would be the purpose of having 72 virgins if the soul doesn't have a libido? How would you be able to define other departed love ones just by their soul? We haven't identified the souls of the living, how will we identify the souls of the dead? This after life concept does not excite me. It takes a lot of faith to believe in the obscure concepts of heaven and hell, as these ideas are just a continuation of earlier mythologies.
