Explain the disdain to me (snake handling) (America, church, bible)

So, someone can be a YE creationist, believe the Bible is the literal word of God, still follow outdated traditions from said Bible (circumcision anyone?), BUT if the Christians who handle snakes and drink poison - which it actually says you can do in the Bible - they're fools????
This is why I can't take fundamentalists seriously.
And for the record, I'm not mocking the snake handling Holiness people. I actually find their practices and their cultures quite fascinating. And you know what, at least they are doing what the Bible actually says they can do on faith alone, believing that God will choose to save them or not. That' some Moderator cut: bleep faith right there!

Jesus returned with" thou shalt NOT tempt the Lord thy God."
God is not manipulated, and it is an offence to attempt it.
This is where many religions fail, and shallow believers give up.
Satan trains his followers that he is manipulated, which is a manipulation all it's own, in the mind of those that think they command him or his demons .

See it is these spiritual fallen angels serpents which Jesus said to promise not to hurt Christian who come in faith where poison of snakes in the natural would take more power of Christ to remove than the authority of the Christians believer in the spirit

Because the Bible doesn't tell us to do that. Will people do it? Sure. But we are not commanded to, nor is there any indication that Christians in the early church would do such nonsense. There is no mention of it in any of the epistles telling us HOW to do church.

The bible promises that Christians can do things like handle snakes and drink Drano and not be harmed. Why would it be in the bible if it wasn't true? Why do you doubt? Why do you not trust the Word of God? Surely, your doubting of the Word of God is similar to the Original Sin of Adam and Eve in the garden: doubting God's Word.
At least the snake handlers take the bible at its word. Of course, even though those folks don't drink deadly poison.
