Alot of ppl think that it's about Nero, and already happened. Still others think it's some major holy war, and Christians kill everyone who isn't a Christian. But I contend this isn't actually about belief systems at all.

It's about lifestyles. Specifically, a lifestyle based around oppression, versus a lifestyle based around honesty and kindness. And to some extent this happens every generation. That said, within the next 15 or 20 years, things can either get very good or very bad.

Option A is not for everyone to become Christian. As I say, this is irrelevant. Option A is for Christians, atheists, and other groups to all have their own spaces, and learn to at least tolerate each other, as a better world is built. Countries stop draining the world resources and racking up karmic debt, and instead, we try seriously to make a better world.

OR

We continue being stupid. Fundie Christians insist on dogma. Governments rape the environment and oppress the people, and there is a massive clash between fundies, Muslims, and atheists. It has nothing to do with who is right and everything to do with might makes right. There is a bloodbath, and the only people alive, are those who stayed out of conflict (these are "true Christians" even if they are something else, they lived their life correctly).

This world as we knew it ends, and a new one comes along either way. But we can choose the first.

That fanciful book of Revelation can be interpreted any way a person wishes, however crazy! Apparently when the Bible was compiled it nearly didn't make it. What a pity it wasn't left out.

In a way, its inclusion seems a cynical attempt to make the Bible sell better. For similar reasons, some books were left out or excised because they revealed more inconsistency of belief than the powers that be wished to reveal. Without a real need for the Bible itself to hold together as a complete work, the editors had the flexibility to pick and choose what to include/exclude.

revelation is written is that style by a person who was just writing. Maybe in code, maybe not. Like finding a sponge bob story a 100 years after all writing have been lost and trying to found out what it means and why would god point you in this way.

Pick the possible way the earth will end. Somebody will be correct. Also, revelations makes a nice end, they needed a way to have closure. Babble was as pretty good way,

Seems the NT is a collection of letters [of opinion]...

This website explains Revelation. It is all symbology, all of it. But to summarise, it is about the revelation of Jesus Christ to and in the individual.

That's code for, "it is vague enough that we can make it mean whatever we'd want it to mean".

The biblical text already has the life we should live and the reason for doing so presented in the form of Jesus and his disciples.

It means that LSD was discovered long before anyone previously thought.

There is no S on the end of Revelation, just sayin. Revelation is about Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Shemini Atzereth.

Rosh Hashanah is seen on every page and we know this from what is taking place in the Temple and what is being said.

Jesus had his 3 and a half year ministry as he walked in his spring season, but there is still 3 and a half years of the fall season to walk in and Revelation is about that walk.
