A new video has just been released in which Pope Francis very clearly expresses his belief that all of the major religions are different paths to the same God. He says that while people from various global faiths may be “seeking God or meeting God in different ways” that it is important to keep in mind that “we are all children of God”. This is the most recent example that shows that the Pope has completely abandoned any notion that a relationship with God is available only through Jesus Christ. As he has done throughout his papacy, he continues to lay the groundwork for the coming one world religion, and yet hardly anyone seems upset by this.
I'd wait for a more authoritative source for the news. While I wouldn't put it past the Pope to try to put Catholicism straight, I cannot believe that he's going to manage to have it traverse the path my own denomination traversed over 350 years in less than 3 years.
Peace, love, brotherhood of man ... all the work of the devil apparently.
This is not a video of Pope Francis's words so that we might evaluate them, it is a video of some amateur broadcaster reading the text of the article you originally posted. Alongside a conspiracy video that Diebold is awaiting the word to steal the US presidential election. Sounds credible to me ...

It's going to be fun to watch the Roman Catholic apologists spin this one.
If this is not real, the fact that people took it seriously and thought it could be is an illustration of how different this particular pope is than his predecessors.
Sounds like a pretty conventional and innocuous call for ecumenical dialogue toward the end of world peace. Seems fairly apropos considering the burgeoning conflict between Islam and other religions and areligion and perceived western decadence.
I will grant you that Frances has implemented a huge shift of emphasis but in this particular video he's not saying anything that the ecumenical movement hasn't been saying for decades. Tempest in a teapot.
I can see why the originally cited URL did not link to the actual video, it's more alarmist to put their own spin on it. If people actually watch it they might wonder what all the fuss is about.
Christianity is a one-world "religion".
The Pope is right, and it's not about making the one-world government
or the Antichrist religion or any of that anti-Catholic claptrap.
The simple fact is that God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost work
within people who are not Christian sometimes. Just like they don't
work within certain "Christians" sometimes.
Fundamental truths have been expressed by other religions in time
for example the Wise Men were Zoroastrians who were led to Baby Jesus.
Pope knows that Jesus Christ is the only way , except he is stuck with trying to please man, then spreading the gospel of Christ, so then the deception of many ways to God is politics
