...Daughter loves him dearly and claims it is biblical citing Lot and his two daughter where G-d didn't curse them or judge them for the relationship...
I think the first question is where is the source of this story.
I have to admit though that if a father wanted to have an incestuous relationship with his daughter, the Bible does offer precedent in Lot, who was in fact not judged nearly as harshly (if at all) for incest as his wife was for a wistful backward glance at the demise of her home.

Yeah. That was yet another in a long line of stupid bible stories that turned me away from Christianity.

Again, everyone misses the point of the Sodom and Gomorrah story to make a point for their own agenda. The last two verses of Genesis 19 are not a sidebar. They are the punch line, the very conclusion to which the entire story leads.
You cannot read the story through the eyes of 21st century literature, or an anti-gay agenda, or an anti-religion agenda. It is an ancient Hebrew story slurring the origins of two nations that are related, yet enemies of the Hebrews.
I cannot be the only person on this forum who learned this!

The only point I drew from the story is the bible god is an insane psycho.
That was when I was about 10. I didn't have an agenda 'til much later.

Actually, their sin gave birth to the Moabites and Ammonite nations. They were not God's chosen people, and they were outside of his covenants.
