We are saddened when some nut job Muslim attacks you. We don't rejoice in it, and we do not wish to see more of it. If I were on the scene I'd have defended your life with my own.

There is a difference between arguing that you should not have the right to redefine marriage and wanting to kill you and your peers. I would be willing to bet that 98+% of Fundamentalists are Trump supporters. They sure aren't going to vote for a *gasp* woman to be President! I mean, in the Fundy view of life, women are not capable "leaders". So please, tell me how you think a fundamentalist wouldn't vote Trump? Because every fundamentalist I know would NEVER vote Democrat, since they don't spew the same racist/misogynistic/xenophobic/religious beliefs that they hold so dear.

Because attacking you (even if it isn't physical) is pleasing their God, and will help them gain brownie points. When a Muslim does it, they are doing it for the wrong God.
They will never understand that this is the exact same beliefs that Muslim terrorists have, because they are blind to anything that doesn't fit their narrative. They are both trying to please their "God".
