Interesting that this was proclaimed, but then, if cities declare gay rights days, why not blasphemy rights days? Good for Victoria, B.C.

I can't imagine this happening in many places south of the Mason-Dixon line.

I have International Blasphemy Day on my calendar as a personal holiday. Right along with Talk Like a Pirate Day and Darwin's Birthday.

In America you guys have your own day already. It comes around every year in April.

But I'll say it again: some people need a lot more to do with their time.

Think how many he'd have if he actually answered questions instead of disappearing from threads.

Do you have a point? Do you see me making deliberately offensive or provocative online postings every day with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them? How many posts have you started in the last 6 months to a year compared to me?

Yes.

In and of itself, no. The fact that a secular system of morality, one that is internally consistent and actually works, has been explained to you a number of times changes things a bit. You are willfully ignoring previous conversations and phrasing things in an antagonistic way.

That isn't a crime of course. I have dismissed christian arguments myself. But I acknowledge that by doing so my posts may be viewed as confrontational or rude.

Given that you know better because of the larger context of your posting history, yes, many of your posts are inflammatory.

I'm actually glad that you find many of the threads I open as offensive, as I agree with you, it is horribly offensive of leaders in a religion to be deceitful, dishonest, fraudulent or sexual predators. I truly hope that you ARE provoked to advocate action within your greater community of pastors and church followers to actively put a stop to those crimes.
