Okay, I'm actually getting tired of hearing this*. How dare you assume that about me? That you think I'm so petty that I'm out to destroy your faith? Aside from being slightly paranoid, it's incredibly self-centered to think that we're so gosh-darn small-minded that we're dedicating our lives to destroying your faith.
For the record, it's not 'important' to me to be an <bleep> (which is what you're describing). First of all, I've never met you, and second, I could care less what you believe.
You and I have both had similar experiences (I recounted mine in another thread; you can probably find it if you look). What we have is a belief that it was the work of a deity. We have no proof of that.
The faith was the result of that belief, not its cause.
That is what I was pointing out.

1 Timothy 4:1. The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
New Age believers unwittingly seek deceiving spirits of the netherworld to use as spirit guides. They are into such practices as mediums and contacting the dead. All of which are against God.
Leviticus 19:31. Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them; I am the Lord your God.
Mediums and familiar spirits involve consulting the spirits of the dead. All contact with these or other spirits was strictly forbidden in Israel. It demonstrated lack of faith in and rebellion against God.
