Yes. This is the hidden message behind the religions with their offers of cure all remedies for human ills including death - control.
Duty is one thing; duty to our fellow human, and thus to ourselves, but 'ecause we say so' orders do not go down well. And if Christianity in its' US fundamentalist form has an unpleasant emphasis on Obey! Obey!, Islam is worse.
I'm holding fire on the Nigella's black powder nostrum. It might just turn out to have some effect on Cor 19 and I don't want egg o my face
But if it turns out that this is just a crap claim, it shows the evils of religions that will uncaringly put humans at risk just in hopes to score a small point for the religion.

Quoting the Koran to a non-believer is a fool's errand.
