You keep trying to put words in my mouth. It's a sinful nature. Sinners are what human beings are by default.
Like if one doesn't believe in gravity they can just jump off a roof and float?
It's what God has said. You can suppress truth if you wish, but it's still truth. It doesn't care about your feelings. Truth is truth.
He's God. He created this universe from nothing. He can do what he wants with it.
You did say that we are all sinners however you have a saviour and others can be saved by accepting him as their personal savior. That means becoming a believer of your faith hence without your belief in Jesus as ones personal saviour one goes to hell. How have I put words in your mouth? You just aren't willing to put it in those words but how can a person be saved without accepting Jesus as their personal saviour? If there is a way you haven't mentioned it, if thete is no way around it then I didn't put words in your mouth.
You belief that your religion is the truth. Others believe their religion is the truth. I don't believe there is sufficient evidence to believe on any God and if I did see that evidence it wouldn't mean that it would necessary be your God.
My feelings are not important. Obviously you still cannot put your mind into a place where you can understand why someone else does not believe what you do. It's certainly not because I don't like your God or wished he was nicer. No I see no evidence that he exists. Or someone else's God exists. He might and if he does I don't know if any of the religions are true or not. But it's not my feelings that I am an atheist. And I have not said that anyone's religion is a lie or false.
Enough of this, Merry Christmas . And for all non Christians reading this post Happy Holidays.
I wouldn't be surprised if that man went straight to heaven immediately after his heroic act, no matter what sins he committed in his life.
Not to be pedantic but the Bible nowhere states that anyone goes straight to heaven at death. This is just another belief based on biblical ignorance, a sad fact (ignorance) that abounds within Christendom.

Just putting that out there. As you were.
The apostle Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
2 Cor 5:8 "So I say that we have confidence. And we really want to be away from this body and be at home with the Lord."
Then, of course, is the story Jesus told of Lazarus the beggar and the rich man. Lazarus was welcomed into his reward right away--not a future time.
And, of course, Jesus telling the repentant thief on the cross next to him that he'd be with him that day in paradise.
Jesus has told me that some people are lost and confused in their own minds.
Did He do the ::cough::cough thing when He said that.
