Heaven is perfect; but when satan and his angles exercised their free will in the direction of sin, they were tossed out. When Adam & Eve used their free will to reach out for sin, they were cast out of Heaven on earth (The Garden of Eden). When the people of Noah's day scoffed at righteous living, they were done away with. When Israel, God's chosen people, refused to obey, they were cast out of His sight. Do you see the trend here? God's love is conditional. That's why Jesus said:

"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:14)

Even so called Christians believe they can sin and go to Heaven; it will never happen. No sin will enter The Pearly Gates.

I don't really understand this defininition of "free will". Does god really give us free will if he threatens us with eternal death if we don't "choose" the the way he'd prefer ? Would you really trust your followers if you knew many if not most of them were there due to being threatned with death if they didn't "see" things the way you do ?

In legal terms, the analogy would be me forcing you to sign a contract with a gun to you head....you of course sign it. Would any judge enforce that contract by telling you that you signed it of your free will ?

That is some definition of free will If this definition gives man pause, I would think god would infinately see it even more clearly.

.
... but the all knowing god knew all this was going to happen, regardless of the "free will". Why then did he allow these events to occur?

Huh...? But if there was no sin in heaven, how could Satan and his angels exercise their free will "in the direction of sin"?

show me the scripture that says there was no sin in heaven.. that is an inference..was he actually in heaven or just another plateau ion the heavens? Paul was caught up to the third heaven he says.

was satan cast out before or after the garden of eden and the creation of adam and eve. some say he was already cast out which would suggest eden was not a part of heaven but surely a somewhat perfect place. but the omnipotent God knew he would lurk there since he would be cast down to the earth to inhabit that domain. an all knowing God created all this, Colossains 1, he created good and evil, the bible says.. all things.

so the debate about whether sin was in heaven is irrevelent..fact is satan was cast out and he did tempt eve...

some says that the heaven was in earth
some says that it is the sky heaven

and every one has his clues

but this does not change any thing from the important fact because there
will be a valid exit for each case
