Have any of you read it? What are your opinions?

It is produced by the watchtower bible and tract society (Jehovah's Witnesses)

It is very unique compared to other bibles.

By people who are scholar in greek and hebrew thiks it the most inn-accurate translation.

if you really think it accurate then you know nothing of the greek or hebrew.

i doubt people have a greek or hebrew lexicon if they think its accurate

example john 1:1 and the word was a god

The true God always have captial G

The right traslation is the word was God.

not a god that can leave open to other views of more then one god

why would a religion need to put out their own bible? Isn't there enough interpretation going on without publishing bibles that hold denominational views ? in this case, the jw.

Default If you really read it yourself

Actually if any of you really knew what the bible was saying maybe you could make more since instead of just making statements, most bibles are written by religions. And if you read the bible you would know that Gods name was written in there over 7,000 times but most religions removed it because they didn't want it in there for you to know infact the bible you are reading has to post that in the front or the back to tell you they removed it and most bibles have still left it in one place Ps 83:18 I own over 12 different bibles and I read and compare all of them even bible scholars have reviewed that bible many times and say how factual it is, so next time maybe everyone could read and dig deeper before making a statement. I'm working right now on a bible research project for my college assignment and read my bible daily. How about you?

Ya know, I really don't believe that any number of translations change anything very much. Each is still just another translation from a book of mythology. The kicker is, both the greeks and romans had better myths, more imaginative, no more or less any closer to truth or wisdom, just good stories. I suspect people create troubles for themselves when they start believing, and taking seriously, long standing myths.

Hummmmm, why am I dubious of grammar lessons with mis-spelled words?

When you consider the fact that every single Bible in the world was translated from a foreign language it seems to suggest that we really don't know what any of them actually were saying and we had to make up the parts that we didn't understand.
