i think the oil is going to run out, we all will have to push our cars to go to work.that sounds horible!!!! just the thought of pushing 3000 pounds of metal down the road to get to work is all mighty frightening
2012 has nothing to do with the bible or with God's wrath. 2012 is the end of the Myan 5000 yr. calendar. That is it.
There are scores of geeks in Bellevue, WA working on artificial intelligence. Of course, Apple / Mac has had it for years, but Steve has yet to issue that single command that will turn every Mac, even the first ones, into outright killing machines (when you find out exactly how they do this, you'll beamazed!)
Meantime, the Apple copycats at Microsoft will finally get a buggy version of it up and running, but they won't be able to control it as Steve Jobs easily did, and it will, on the evening of Dec. 20, 2012, get out into the 'Net and it will easily infect all the computers on that structure.
(Why do you think the 'Net was all set up to begin with? "Everyone should have the Net in their homes!" says the gov'-mint. Of course! That's exactly what they want!)
So.... at 12:01 am, all heck breaks loose. Turn off your computers a few minutes before that, go outside and listen to the hopeless screams from your neighbors, from the streets, from folks in their i-system equipped cars.
We atheists (or antitheists) will suddenly be deluded, become theists and start worshiping the antichrist, this in spite of our skeptical leanings and all.
We will be recruited into the guillotine making business to behead those few theists that did not quite have the (true christian(tm)) credentials.
Oh and BTW, to the heathen out there, I have started manufacturing of said guillotines in anticipation of this glorious event, special offered for early orders, "don't miss the rupture", you do of course know SA steel is the most superior?

Well I know nothings going to happen, it's just going to be another day like any other, it's the winter solstice, which happens to be the shortest day of the year as far as daylight is concerned and besides I have to renew my driver's license in 2013, so I know nothings going to happen....
It's about one day past the end of 2011. That and nothing more.
