How can anyone sit there and call themselves "Christians" and do what these idiots do?
The "Westboro Baptist Church" from Topeka Kansas are the morons that travel from state to state, just so they can protest and chant at fallen Military Service personnel. They interrupt funeral graveside services with signs such as "God Made IED's to kill your child", or "We're glad that your soldier is dead", or and I hate this one the most and sorry if it so blunt, "Your soldier was a F@g and deserves to die".
Why are the local Churches in Kansas not stepping in and trying to shut them down?
Why aren't the local police in these cities where they're protesting doing something to NOT allow them to protest at these services?
How can they call themselves "Christians" when they commit such an abomination against the fallen and their families?
The so called preacher of these half wits remind me of the preacher in black in the movie "Poltergeist" that was always after the little girl, combined with "Jim Jones, in the Giana Tragedy". And he uses language worse than any sailor out there.
You know, it's times like these that these that every native dreams of the old days. In my nation (as in most Indian nations), no one is held in more honor than the veteran. For those people to disrespect these brave men and women who passed doing their duty, really angers me. Being a 20 year veteran of the USAF myself and done my time in the "sand box", I would love nothing more than to go "Comanche" on those particular individuals.
I don't mind them having their rights to say what they want, but don't disturb the mourning families while going it. If they continue to allow this, then we should be able to break through a funeral precision in traffic because its would be keeping us from getting to where WE want to be, right?

me and the missus watched a documentary on them a while ago and were shocked at what we seen
these people go to funerals and stand there with banners and chant these stupid things and basically make a complete show of themselves while showing complete lack of respect to those morning for their loved ones-if that was one of my family in that coffin i dont think i would be able to control myself and someone would end up with a broken jaw,-and i pack a mighty right hook.they should be ashamed of themselves. complete radicals.
The freedom to express one intolerance and hatred, especially if they are holding a bible in their hand. If it were a satanic cult behaving in an identical manner, I suspect they would find themselves in a jail cell.
I see such bias on the streets of my home town. Street preachers are free to scream their hatred at the top of their lungs, others get gang tackled by thug cops.

I'm with you on this one, I'm afraid that they would learn what pavement tastes like in a hurry and that goes for the females of these idiots, too.
then I'd say a prayer for their quick recovery in the local hospital. Amen!
