Silver Legacy and the El Dorado. Always big crowds. The two casinos are next to each other.

Grand Sierra seems to be always hiring. Makes you wonder. I assume it's cause the new girls get put on the worst shifts and don't like it... dunno. GSR is one of the better hotels I would think better than eldo or legacy. I work at the Cal Neva as a dealer and I absolutely LOVE our cocktail waitresses. They are the prettiest sweetest ones around, but we are not that much of a tourist destination, we cater more to locals so it just depends on what you think. I think you can't go wrong with Peppermill or Atlantis either. Those hotel casinos off the "strip" (that term is used lightly) I think do better than those on it... Where are you moving from and why do you want to cocktail?

Had lots of fun recently (2/11-15) at the CalNeva. $3 craps and blackjack were a real bonus. The Steak & Eggs breakfast in the Top-Deck(name?) restaurant was the best deal in Reno.

loads of great info here but, just so you know the CW are not making much money you may want to look at the hotels in Tahoe, Harrahs, Montbleu, Harveys, Hyatt [incline} Tahoe is where the money is, the ski an summer tourists and the Wealthy residents.

Have you been to Reno? There are very few jobs period. I know Rail City and Peppermill are Hiring coctail servers. As per servers the ones that work in Reno do not make very much since tourism is not the best and the ones that do come in to visit are on a budget and nickle and dime the servers with small if ANY tip. As Per locals once in a while you get a nice tip but its rare.

A close friend of mine got a job as a server at GSR and was also a model and was a perfect 10 and even she barely made it. She had the grave yard shift an after 3 months had swing shift and quit after 9 months. Now she is a bartender at a legal brothel and making about $300 plus a night in tips plus $125 per a 12 hour shift and she works 4 days on 4 days off and loves it.
