Relocating with the family to North Carolina and husband went ahead and signed lease and accidently sent it over when asking a question...needless to say, is there any way of back out? A security deposit is yet to be paid and as stated in lease, we did not receive a copy of HOA rules from management company.

Is that enough to inquire about getting out of lease ?

If all else fails, we can make do, but just wondering if there is any out we can take at the moment. Unfortunately husband jumped the gun with the accidental send of a signed lease.

What did the owner/complex say when you asked?

At least ask. The worst they can say is no.

If it was just sent, I would ask to return the lease.

If you were my tenant, you would not be signing a lease without having a deposit/Holding fee down. I only sign leases when I give you the keys.

The lease generally only obligates the landlord, not the tenant. If you think it obligates tenant, you have never been to Court.

I'd ask but if you signed then it's yours and they may enforce it.
