went to our house in the pocono mountains of pa over the weekend.

we are right by lake wallenpaupack........

lake wallenpaupack has 52 miles of shoreline and is quite a site.

even sports its own electrical generation plant.

heres some pics we took at the lake this weekend.

Great pics, mathjack.

I had family visiting this weekend so we went out to Red Rock Canyon, which is about 20 minutes from my house. I'm not the photo buff you are, so rather than post my own, I'll just post a couple of links to other photos.

promised land state park is a big beautiful park near our home in the poconos.

went there one cold morning before the sun came up to shoot.

I've heard that PA is attacting many retirees...what are the advantages of living there for someone retiring? I'd love to live on/near a lake!
