The worst part is attracting the wrong people. I'm still in my 30s, and when you say you're retired (at that age), then people know you have money and they'll ask to borrow some because they have a great business idea or their mother has a terminal illness or whatever. They also get nosey, asking how I was able to retire young. Nowadays I just tell people I work in managing investments, instead of saying I'm retired.
Honestly, after nearly 4 1/2 years of retirement, I can't think of a single thing about it I dislike.
As far as what I "miss" from working, I've offset that by volunteering some time to work with the police. It gives me sufficient interaction, and ongoing relationships in a workplace environment. Unlike work though, volunteering gives you much more flexibility in time dedicated to the assignments, and not having to deal with the inevitable politics of an office environment.
