becareful with fidelity , many plans appear cheaper but that is because they do not include a death benefit

You may want to consider if you want to lock in the Market value. This is the primary purpose for which we bought deferred GLWB annuities. We however bought at the Market lows and participated in the Market increases less fee drag.

A long straddle option.
