A man broke into the Rochester, New York, home of an 82-year-old grandmother. It didn't end well -- for him.

Willie Murphy said she was getting ready for bed Thursday night when a man began pounding on her door, urging her to call an ambulance for him, CNN affiliate WHAM reported.

Good for her! If he didn't need an ambulance before he broke in, he sure did after!

Luckily she wasn’t taken by surprise and along with her powerlifting was able to handle it.

That was dumb. I would have called 911 and told the dispatcher there was a man banging on my door requesting an ambulance.

And then he would have kicked in your door, just like he did hers. She called "the police", I'm assuming that means 911. She had no choice but to react, he was in her house. In no way is that "dumb".

Sorry, I didn't watch the video before replying and swear to God, I didn't see where the article said he broke into the house. My mind is obviously shot.
