I took the paxlovid. The side effects are worse than the virus AND it did not help at all. Two friends who had covid the same time I did took it and felt better, tested negative and went about their life as usual for 5 days then had a relapst that was worse than the original symptoms of the virus, bedridden for two weeks.
Paxlovid is as useless as Tamiflu. Ask a doctor why they don't prescribe Tamiflu and 5 years from now they will have the same answer for Paxlovid. It is a way to line Pfizer's pockets, with no usefulness to anyone else.
your anecdotal statement is actually what is useless as well as potentially harmful
Spouse & I got the latest Covid booster on March 20. We even went out to dinner, but by midnight I felt like I had the flu, feverish, sweaty & achy & didn't sleep well. Spouse felt a little off. We both had itchiness, swelling, heat & redness at injection site. All is well now. This is a PSA for anyone interested.
I noticed the Paxlovid discussion above. I had Covid in July 2022. I knew about Paxlovid because a friend on the east coast had Covid that May & had gotten Paxlovid & told me they started to feel better almost immediately. I felt very sick & was much better within 24 hours of the first dose of Paxlovid. It definitely lessened the severity of the illness & I recommend using it.
We also got the Covid booster last week. This time my arm was hardly even sore. We’ve also taken Paxlovid when we had Covid last summer. We both felt completely well within 48 hours.

My wife and I got a booster because we are leaving the country for a vacation in about two weeks. I've had Pfizer until now. Got Moderna this time. It definitely hurts more, but a single tylenol does an amazing job of making you feel better.
