I am looking for daycare for my infant. We cannot afford East Side Providence prices ($1400-2000), and are trying to find something in the $1k/range.
We recently toured Dr. Daycare on Concord St. in Pawtucket which is very well priced, almost too well priced. Does anyone know anything about this place? It seemed ok. I am so nervous at the idea of leaving my baby at a facility, but at-home centers make me even more nervous because I suspect with less staff, there is less oversight/accountability.
I am curious about whether anyone has heard anything about Dr. Daycare - good or bad; or has recommendations about another place they are familiar with.
This is probably far out of your way but I live in East Side Providence and have my toddler at Lollipop learning center in Johnston. I pay $225 per week and my daughter loves it. It is a real pain getting home though crossing through the city.
