No, those are hyperbolic opinions. Mostly coming from people who only know Arctic, West Warwick's struggling downtown former shopping district - like most Main Streets in most New England towns, really.
There are plenty of nice neighborhoods in West Warwick and it's simply not the broad "white trash" phrase you so charmingly use. West Warwick is mostly middle class. If you were to explore, you'd find a lot to like. It's really not very different than any other RI town.

I include this one because my grandfather almost bought this house, but decided to build his own instead. So had things turned out differently, this is where I would have been for every holiday!
Great examples of the many nice neighborhoods and housing. Like I mentioned my friends live in very nice and safe neighborhoods within West Warwick. If I wasn’t set on a more rural setting West Warwick and Woonsocket would definitely be on my radar.
sandsonik, if I were to say "Barrington is widely considered to be among the wealthiest places in RI", that is a factual statement.
There are plenty of people in Barrington who are not wealthy, but that doesn't make the original statement not factual.
We weren’t discussing wealthiest but your contention West Warwick, Woonsocket and Oakland Beach being the trashiest.
If this is factual could you please provide credible links. My firsthand knowledge of these areas are completely opposite of both of yours. The median price of housing and median income show otherwise.
Nobody would ever use that term to describe me. I'm not a slumlord.
I know the first statement definitely not to be true. As for the second protestation, - you are known well for your projecting here.
