Hi! I'm hoping to relocate to this area and would like to know which of the above towns to choose. Great schools is THE top priority for me. I'd like a safe community with a fun town center so I can park the car in one spot and spend the afternoon walking around to do errands, grab a quick lunch, and bring the kids tothe playground or perhaps see the water. Any healp is greatly appreciated!
I suggest you look at East Greenwich and Narragansett in South Kingstown. Both have walkable areas and good schools. West Greenwich is quite rural as is N. Kingstown.
I agree with Hollytree. East Greenwich is your best option from above choices. It has a walkable small downtown area - actually the only one that even has one! Also has good school system. Now another choice is Wakefield - which is actually part of Narragansett. Town os a bit more spread out but definitely has some walkable areas and only minutes from the ocean.
