We are toying with the idea of moving from the West End to the Southside and these two Mosely communities are on our list. We would most likely be building. Any experience with these neighborhoods? Of course Summer Lake's amenities are already built, and it seems that there will be more there. Both neighborhoods seem to have approximately the same sized lots. Is there a different feel to the neighborhoods? How is the area in general? The schools look good on paper, is that reliable? (Looks like it's Grange Hall Elementary, Tomahawk Creek Middle, Cosby High.) Any information would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I live in that area and really like it, schools are fantastic. Have you looked at FoxCreek for a new build? Of the two, Westerleigh and Summerlake, I'd choose Summerlake, the builders are just more higher end than Westerleigh. However, when we were looking we did not like how far they were from Hull Street, so we moved FoxFire. It was the great decision for our family! Love it here and really happy with the schools and the area overall.

Thank you! We have not looked into FoxCreek as of yet. We're not all that familiar with the area, so it helps to hear a little more about it! Is there still a lot of building going on in FoxCreek? I've had trouble finding any information online.

We really like both Summer Lake and Westerleigh, but between the two it's hard to decide. Summer Lake is probably a little nicer, and the builders are higher end, but it might be possible to save some money in Westerleigh and still have a really nice community. There's a lot to think about. Thank you for the feedback! Glad to hear you love the area and schools!

Have you looked at any of the new developments going in out there, off Hull Street? We're interested in that area, too, and hear great things about Winterpock Elementary.
