Willing to drive about 45 minutes out from Roanoke, our family grew, we need a minivan. Still kind of new here, so don't know who has a good (or bad) reputation. Any input is appreciated! Thanks.

Enterprise has a fleet sales lot on Melrose, I haven't bought there but I work for a local credit union and they're a great partner w/us.

I bought my current car at Berglund in Salem & am happy with it & with the deal/warranty I got.

Its tough to find a good used car dealer but I recently had a good experience with Brookside on Williamson Road near Peters Creek Road. I have never heard any negative views on that dealership btw. The rental car dealerships are very good as they keep records of the used car service record. If there is a Hertz dealership for used cars I would try first. Good Luck!

Might be worth the trip to Cville or Greensboro to look at Carmax

I also purchased from Berglund and have been happy with the service I have received both before and after the sale.

Good luck, buying a new car can be a frustrating experience!

We have bought two vehicles over the years from Hart Motors in Salem and have been pleased overall with both experiences.

Sorry about the recommendation. I didn't realize there was a 10-post waiting time for posting those, but it's understandable to avoid trolls. Thanks.

Figured I'd update my own thread. Hart Motors was great to deal with, as was First Team, but I bought from Berglund chrysler/jeep, which was also very friendly.

Almost didnt buy from them due to an inventory mix-up that left me kind of annoyed, but the dealer Scott Dyer really did make it right and it was a very smooth process after that.

We got a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan in the end....I'd rather have a Ferrari.

Who sells Ferraris in Roanoke? I DID see one for sale in a place in Salem as I drove by. It was a 308. However, my friend told me it may not have been all original parts. The tough thing is that these only get 6-8 MPG for premium fuel. On second thought. Who cares who sells Ferraris? I cannot afford the gas.
