Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I was wondering if some of you could be NICE enough to let me know there suggestions on locations to live in the Roanoke Virginia area.

I have one small child and two horses. Would like to rent a horse with a small bar-pasture for the horses. I would like to know if there is anything available like that if so location and price..

We are in the process of finding new work in that area, my husband currently does road construction and landscaping so company names in the area would be helpful to..

We want to move to have a safer more laid back way of life. We will not move with out a set job and I am wanting to move by late spring of 2014.

Thank you for your time and if you could be nice I would appreciate it.

I HAVE read posts on here but could not find answers I was looking for.

Thanks again!

For companies for your husband try;

English (road builders from Roanoke area)
Branch Highways (new road builders)
Virginia DOT (VDOT)

That's all I can think of right now, drawing a blank on a few more I've seen around. As far as housing, there are plenty of areas around that will work for you. Once you get the job situation worked out housing won't be bad.
