Super excited.

Our PITI total is equivalent to 50% of my sister's rent up here in NY.

Looking forward to enjoying your guys's neck of the woods for a while.

I know, it's crazy when you think about it. I work in Long Island City in Queens NY. They just built 2 buildings across the street from me. 1 is $2,500 a month for 2 bedrooms and the other building is $5,400 a month for 2 bedrooms. ANNNND the bus that drops off from Riker's Island is on the same block.

We do love all the revitalization going on. I really think downtown's gonna get better and better. Is that the cider donut place? We will definitely be regulars there.

Yup, and it's only going to get worse. My sister's parking spot in her building costs almost $300 a month as well, which is probably what all our utility bills will be lol. She's born and raised there so she doesn't know any better.

We are right near Enterprise Drive near the newer Wyndhurst settlement area. Not sure if any of you guys are close by.

I live downtown between the Bluffwalk/Commerce Street and Jefferson Street. I live a car-free urban lifestyle so I don't get out to Wyndhurst much... but if you are ever downtown let me know!

I love that area. You live in one of those new condos? We were trying to find a 2 or 3 bed condo down there for sale but all we found were 1 beds.
